A member of the famed Kennedy family, Tatiana Schlossberg, died on Tuesday after a November announcement of a rare blood cancer diagnosis.
The Kennedy Library Announces the Passing
The sad news was confirmed in a online announcement by the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum.
“Tatiana passed away this morning. She will always be in our hearts.”
Insight into the Diagnosis
As detailed in a published essay late last year, Schlossberg revealed that she had been found to have AML, a form of leukemia with a uncommon variant.
Acute myeloid leukemia is a cancer that originates in the bone marrow and blood cells.
Her loved ones has requested privacy as they cope with their sorrow.
